As-Builts
As-builts are typically performed on the following drawing types to update them to actual construction and include deviations from the Issued for Construction revision in the final close-out set:
- P&IDs;
- Plot Plans; and
- Process Flow Diagrams.
An as-built typically includes:
- Mechanically as-built Process and Instrumentation Diagrams verified by a senior piping designer;
- Symbology Chart;
- Updated or new Process Flow Diagram; and
- As-built facility Plot Plan, including:
- all surface items (as well as non-process equipment like guard rails, roads, storage areas, etc.);
- underground pipe and cable routings and underground equipment depending on available information; and
- survey boundary locations where a site survey exists.
